The MTBC is accepting nominations through May 26. One new category, the Corporate CIO, has been established for 2015. The MTBC defines the North Texas Metroplex as the 11 counties in the DFW North Texas region including Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hunt Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant and Wise counties.

Instructions for completing online nominations
1. To nominate someone, click the link below to create a profile and register a user name and password.
2. In the Award Category drop down menu, select the category you wish to nominate.
For a list of categories, see the list below.
3. Complete the required nominee profile information and the questions required of the category. Prior to finalizing the nomination,you can save and close the form at any time. Thn you may come back, log in and click "My Nomination Forms" to edit or delete the nomination.
4. To submit the nomination click "Save and Finalize". You will receive an email receipt of your nomination.
5. To change or withdraw a nomination after the nomination has been submitted contact Danielle Billelo 972-792-2869.

CORPORATE INNOVATION AWARD
The Corporate Innovation award recognizes a technology company for outstanding innovation and unique accomplishments through recent or potential breakthrough technology or approach within the technology or approach within the technology industry in the DFW Metroplex. The company must have a corporate headquarters or a division office in the DFW Metroplex. The company must have 2014 operating revenues of more than $200 million.
EMERGING COMPANY INNOVATION AWARD
The Emerging Company Innovation award recognizes a technology company for outstanding innovation and unique accomplishments through recent or potential breakthrough technology or approach within the technology industry. The company must be headquartered in the Metroplex and have 2014 operating revenues of at least $2 million but not more than $200 million.
The Tech Titans Emerging Company CEO award recognizes the CEO of a technology company headquartered in the DFW Metroplex with 2014 operating revenues of at least $2 million but no more than $200 million
The Corporate CTO award recognizes the Corporate Technology or Science Officer of a DFW Metroplex based technology or non-technology company for exceptional technical leadership that fostered the development of new technology resulting in significant value for the company.
CORPORATE CIO AWARD
The Corporate CIO award recognizes the Chief Information Officer of a DFW Metroplex based technology or non-technology company for exceptional technical leadership that fosters the deployment of Information Technology (IT) resulting in significant value for the company.
CORPORATE CEO AWARD
The Corporate CEO award recognizes the CEO or Divison President of a technology company having a corporate headquarters or a division office in the DFW Metroplex. The company has 2014 operating revenue of more than $200 million.
Fast Tech, a Tech Titans Award, recognizes the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and clean technology company in the DFW Metroplex. Fast Tech Award finalists are determined based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2012-2014.
By submitting the nomination form, the company agrees to publicly disclose its percentage revenue growth. The percentage revenue growth is computer as :[( FY’2014 revenue - FY'2012 revenue) / FY'2012 revenue] x 100%. The MTBC will not disclose actual current and base year revenue amounts.
INVESTMENT CATALYST AWARD
The Investment Catalyst award recognizes an organization for completing a significant technology related investment transaction that will impact and deliver significant long-term economic prosperity for the DFW Metroplex. The transaction must have occurred since January 2014
TECHNOLOGY ADOPTER AWARD
The Tech Titans Technology Adopter award recognizes a company with U.S. headquarters in the DFW Metroplex whose core business is not a technology product for outstanding adoption and application of innovative technologies that successfully change and impact business results.
TECHNOLOGY ADVOCATE AWARD
The Tech Titans Technology Advocate award recognizes a DFW Metroplex individual or company whose core business is not a technology product for outstanding leadership in championing, assisting, advancing or accelerating the performance of the technology industry in North Texas.
TECHNOLOGY INVENTORS AWARD (Judges Interview Category)
The Technology Inventors Award recognizes the pioneering accomplishments of a person, team or group responsible for the creation of breakthrough ideas, processes or products which have advanced the discipline(s) of the arts, education, electronics, energy, engineering, environment, medicine, and/or science. The nominee is with a DFW Metroplex company or institution
COMMUNITY HERO AWARD
The Community Hero Award recognizes an individual employed by the DFW Metroplex technology company for outstanding achievements in community service to the DFW Metroplex.

UNIVERSITY LEVEL AWARD (Judges Interview Category)
The Tech Titans of the Future University Level award recognizes an accredited educational institution in the DFW Metroplex that encourages and supports students to choose engineering and technology related disciplines as a preferred career path. This award category spotlights DFW area higher educational institutions' technology related curricula and incentives to perpetuate tech-related knowledge transfer. The award finalists display creative, innovative approaches that reach out to students and other learning-minded professionals and related institutions. The nomination requires testimonials from two current or former students, educators or other individuals who have excelled or benefited from this program.

HIGH SCHOOL MATH/SCIENCE TEACHER AWARD
The Tech Titans of the Future High School Level Award recognizes a DFW Metroplex high school (grades 9-12) math or science teacher for development and implementation of an innovative teaching technique or program that inspires student interest regarding further educational and/or career pursuits in science, technology, engineering or math. The teaching technique or program must demonstrate opportunity for students to gain applied knowledge. Only one teacher per school may be nominated. A lesson plan may be included in the nomination. The nomination requires testimonials from two current or former students.
